How does the Step Challenge Work?
A smart device such as a Fit Bit, smart phone, etc, is required in order to track your steps. Prior to the Challenge, registrants will receive an email explaining how to download and use the app. Note that if you downloaded the app last year, you will need to download it again. Participants can plot their own course, or use one of the courses below. All steps taken from 12:01 am on Oct. 7th through 11:59 pm on Oct 15th, will be counted by the app.
Where will the pre-race dinner take place?
The dinner will be at the Glenview New Church on October 15th, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. We will be selling raffle/dinner tickets for $15
Swag Bag Pickup:
The dinner is $15. The Step Challenge is $35
Packets may be picked up at the stores and restaurants noted below. An event T-shirt designed by our T-shirt contest winner will be included, as well as other fun giveaways and recognition for participating.

Participants that achieve 80,000 steps or more over the 8 day event, will be eligible for prizes. An Awards Ceremony will take place at Hoffman School! Some of the prizes for top steppers include gift certificates from local restaurants, spas, car wash, shops, a winery and more. It promises to be a good time!
Participants can pickup 500 bonus steps by stopping at any of the locations below and scanning their QR code. Limit once a day per location, but visit as many as you like in a day!
